Wingaersheek Beach
Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester has always been calming to me. I hope this page helps you realize why and possibly go there yourself. Here are some facts.
#1 Wingaersheek Beach used to be called Coffin’s Beach.
#2 Wingaersheek Beach is 0.6 miles long.
#3 Dogs are not allowed on Gloucester beaches from May 1st to September 30, not that I like it! I love dogs!!!
#4 Some nearby attractions include seafood restaurants Woodman’s and Lobsta Land. (I highly recommend Woodman’s. It is my favorite restaurant.)
#5 Another attraction is the Essex antique trail.
#6 Wingaersheek Beach is adjacent to the Annisquam river.
#7 Gloucester is the oldest fishing town in the USA.
All these facts are reasons I love Gloucester and Wingaersheek Beach. Hope you learned something new!
